The hidden metric
Most job boards never tell you how long a role took to fill. We think that's a mistake: time-to-fill tells candidates where demand is hottest, and tells employers how competitive their offer really is.
How we measure it
When an employer marks a Jobze listing as filled, we record the number of days it was live. Aggregated by category, that gives a real picture of hiring velocity in qualified industries.
Early signals
- Specialist deep tech and hardware roles typically stay open longest. The talent pool is small and highly employed.
- Software roles move fastest when they include a salary range and a remote or hybrid option.
- Roles that stay open past 45 days usually have a scope problem, not a sourcing problem.
We'll keep publishing this data as the board grows. If you filled a role through Jobze, mark it filled from your dashboard. It keeps the data honest for everyone.
