Part-time Bookkeeper / Accountant

Location: York – On-site
Salary: £25,000–£28,000 per annum pro rata, depending on experience and qualifications
Hours: Part-time

I am looking for an experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant to work directly with me and alongside a small number of remote bookkeepers, managing the day-to-day accounts of the business., managing the day-to-day accounts of my business.

The ideal candidate will

Have completed AAT Level 4 or be an ACCA finalist
Have practical bookkeeping/accounts experience
Be confident with bookkeeping, reconciliations, VAT and month-end accounts
Be organised, accurate and able to work independently
Have good knowledge of accounting software and Excel
This is a hands-on, independent role with responsibility for the day-to-day finances of the business.
