MillTech Recruitment is working with a leading UK transport planning consultancy to find experienced Principal Consultants to join its London team.

This is an opportunity to take a leading role in delivering development-related transport projects, managing key client relationships and helping shape the growth of an established consultancy.

The opportunity

You'll take ownership of a varied portfolio of projects, combining technical expertise with project leadership and client management. You'll also support the development of colleagues and contribute to winning new business.

Key responsibilities include

• Leading development-related transport planning projects.
• Delivering and reviewing Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and technical reports.
• Managing client relationships and liaising with local authorities.
• Overseeing project budgets, programmes and transport modelling.
• Mentoring colleagues and supporting business development.

What we're looking for

• Strong experience in development-led transport planning.
• Excellent knowledge of UK transport planning policy and principles.
• Proven project management and client-facing skills.
• Experience with transport modelling and data analysis.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Chartership, or working towards it, would be advantageous.

• £55,000 - £65,000 base
