The Role

As a Radio Presenter at KA Radio, you will be responsible for presenting engaging programmes, interacting with listeners, introducing music and features, and helping to create a lively and professional on-air experience.

You will work closely with the production and management team to develop ideas, prepare content, and ensure programmes meet the station's standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Present live or pre-recorded radio programmes.
• Introduce music, features, interviews, news, and other programme content.
• Engage with listeners through phone calls, messages, social media, and competitions.
• Research and prepare interesting topics and stories for broadcast.
• Conduct interviews with guests, artists, community members, and other contributors.
• Create engaging and appropriate content for KA Radio's target audience.
• Promote station events, campaigns, programmes, and social media channels.
• Work with producers and other presenters to plan and deliver high-quality shows.
• Follow station guidelines and broadcasting regulations.
• Maintain a professional, positive, and engaging on-air personality.
• Contribute ideas for new programmes, features, competitions, and promotional activities.
• Assist with recording promotional content, adverts, voiceovers, and station imaging when required.

• Previous radio, broadcasting, media, or presenting experience is desirable but not essential.
